Mackenzie brings several years of experience in strategic and authentic community engagement to the team. She started her career in Atlanta, Georgia working with the federal government, non-profits, higher education, and elected officials after receiving her Master of City and Regional Planning from Georgia Tech. Despite a diverse career background, she always fell back into her niche of creative communications. Most recently, she led the public affairs operations at Tripler Army Medical Center at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic where she developed a strong rapport with media outlets on Oahu. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Georgia and ensures that her clients’ products are impeccable, intriguing, and on-brand.
After growing up around the world with military parents, Mackenzie is passionate about community, culture, and natural ecosystems. It is through this lens that she approaches clients, their audiences, and her own impact on the world. When not perfecting words or designing graphics, you can find her gardening, reading on her lanai, trying to catch some waves in Waikiki, or hiking with her dog, Shaka.
