Kevin is a professional project manager, editor and writer dedicated to producing quality content. With over a decade of experience in media and publishing, Kevin believes in the power of words, stories and images to inform and inspire people for the betterment of the community. He has led a variety of accounts at Pang Communications, and leads PC’s partner in owned media – GENERATOR Content Marketing.

A fan of counter culture, underdogs and all things pulpy, Kevin earned his journalism chops as a staff writer at the Honolulu Weekly, freelance writer for Hana Hou!, Honolulu and Hawai‘i magazines and editor of Freesurf magazine. Element Media acquired Green Magazine Hawai‘i in 2013 and Kevin joined the company as its managing editor, responsible for the production of three quarterly, regional publications: Green Magazine Hawai‘i, Pacific Edge and Las Vegas Bound. Kevin is also a published author with four Moon Handbook travel guides under his belt with mainland publisher Avalon Travel, as well as two books with Mutual Publishing in Honolulu, Ka Palapala Po‘okela award winner Green Hawai‘i: A guide to a Sustainable and Energy Efficient Home and A Pocket Guide to the Botanical Gardens of Hawai‘i.

Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and served on the board at the U.S. Green Building Council from 2014 to 2016. A resident of Aina Haina, he is a proud husband and father, life-long surfer, bonsai artist and staghorn fern fanatic.
