Christy Sievert is a Senior Account Executive for Pang Communications, providing media relations and marketing consulting. Christy brings seven years of communications experience in marketing, advertising, sales, and publishing.
Previously, Christy was the production manager for Honolulu agency, Advertising Associates International, working with Ward Village, Kahala Mall, and Hyatt Regency Waikiki. She was responsible for the production of the Pualeilani Shops bi-annual shopping guide and oversaw creative direction and design for advertising materials. With a background in publishing, Christy has worked with Hana Hou! Magazine for Hawaiian Airlines and the Hawaii Visitors and Conventions Bureau Vacation Planners, providing client relations and advertising sales.
An active member of the marketing and advertising community, Christy served on the board of Ad 2 Honolulu for three years as public relations and social media chair, vice-president, and co-president. As co-president in 2015, the organization was honored with the award for National Club of Excellence and was awarded first place for the club’s communications program. She specialized in fundraising and events, public relations, digital marketing, and social media.
Christy earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota with a combined degree in Business Marketing and British Literature. She is an avid traveler and studied in London from 2002-2003. She has a passion for food and wine and is a certified wine professional, has taught classes on wine tasting and food pairing, and continued her culinary education as a line cook at The Pig and the Lady restaurant in Chinatown.
After living in Honolulu for seven years, Christy relocated to Austin, TX with her husband.
